My Workspace

My Workspace contains a range of tools and resources, and with few exceptions all are private to you.

The following tabs are visible to all visitors to your Workspace.

• My Profile – Contains multiple sections allowing you to publish as much or as little about yourself as you wish. Only your First Name, and your unique account identifier @myname, are required to be publicly visible.
• My Blog – Articles written and published by you sharing personal, and professional development know-how, skills, and resources with other members of the Workshop. Be sure your articles follow the Workshop Guidelines for appropriate content.
• Masterpiece Articles – Articles written by you, reviewed, and published in the general Workshop Masterpiece Journal. We encourage you to submit articles for publication. Write for Masterpiece Journal.

The following tabs are not visible to others by default. Only your Connections can see them when visiting your Workspace.

• My Connections – This tab allows your connections to see one another, and establish a connection themselves.
• My Groups – This tab presents which Knowledge Groups you are a member facilitating interaction among your Connections and yourself.

Connections vs Followers – Anyone may Follow another Member to stay current with their activities. Connections are established by mutual consent only, and may be revoked by the consenting Member.

The following tabs are visible only to you.

• Activity Log – This tracks activity from a variety of sources across the general Workshop, as well as your personal activity. It allows you to stay within your personal My Workspace, and maintain a finger on the pulse of these Workshop activities: | Personal | Likes | Connections | Groups | Mentions | Following
• My Bookmarks – Available on articles appearing in Masterpiece Journal and all My Blog articles including your own. Create categories (visible only to you) to Bookmark and organize content. It’s visibly clean like folders, and allows you to cross-link an article to multiple categories like tags.
• My Courses – Displays current and trending Personal Development courses available on the Udemy learning platform. Choose from hundreds of free and paid courses after creating a free Udemy account. Once you enroll in a course, it becomes part of your personal My Learning page available using the (Enrolled Courses) button on your My Courses tab.
• My Journal – Use this tool to capture your thoughts for future reference, or just to help you work through an idea. My Journal cannot be searched, appear in activity lists (including your Personal activity log), or visible to Life Masterpiece Workshop personnel (including via the administration center). It is completely private.
• My Photos – This tab is visible only to you, and you have controls to share photos with others:
  • Public/All Members – This selection makes a photo visible to anyone who Follows you via the Workspace Activity Log in their personal Workspace.
  • Connections – Visible via the Workspace Activity Log to your Connections
  • Private – Visible only to you.
• My Documents – Like Photos, this tab is visible only to you, and you have controls to share documents with others:
  • • Public/All Members – This selection makes a document visible to anyone who Follows you via the Workspace Activity Log in their personal Workspace.
    • Connections – Visible via the Workspace Activity Log to your Connections
    • Private – Visible only to you.
• My Invitations – Visible only to you, this tool is used to invite others to the Workshop and track their replies. Invitations include your First & Last name as stored in your profile. You may edit the invitation before sending.

Important Note: Invitations are sent from the @LifeMasterpieceWorkshop.com email domain. Some receiving email systems will filter unknown domains to spam. If one of your invitations goes unanswered, you may wish to send another directly from your personal email address.
