My Journal is a private tool to capture your thoughts for future reference, or just to help you work through an idea.

My Journal cannot be searched, appear in activity lists (including your Personal activity log), or be visible to Life Masterpiece Workshop personnel (including via the administration center). It is completely private.

There are many styles and methods for journaling that you can use according to your preferences. The following model will structure your journal according to The Five Elements as master categories into which you can make journal entries in an organized manner.

  1. Family & Personal Heritage
  2. Family & Household Management
  3. Family & Personal Finance
  4. The Human Being
  5. Tools for Living

New Entry

Use the New Entry button to create a master category to record your thoughts over time. In our model, we created five entries as master categories to represent The Five Elements of Life-as-a-Craft.

Note: If you use the New Entry feature to create individual journal entries, you will quickly find the main journal page difficult to keep organized.

Edit

Use the Edit feature on each master category to make standard entries in that master topic. The page is initially blank. We created a simple time-based entry format that you can follow:

  1. Insert a little space at the top of the page then create a heading title as you like.
  2. Below the heading title, we inserted a horizontal rule line using the [-] button found on the journal toolbar.
  3. Make your first entry and when finished insert a horizontal rule line using the [-] button on the next line below the entry.
  4. In future entries, insert a carriage return in front of the date of your last entry to make space for your new entry. When finished once again insert a horizontal rule line on the next line below the entry.

The result over time is you will have an organized list of entries by the date of the last entry at the top, each one separated in its own box.

Your journal is private. Please to sign-in to record your entries.
